46 an hour 15 hours ago 15 hours ago 15 hours ago Job Summary FIRST REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS JULY 19TH The Records Services Specialist provides high quality customer service for the general public, representatives of private firms and government agencies.
Answers questions and process applications for areas of assignment including land records, birth and death certificates, passports, marriage licenses and certificates, and other documents, including review of identification and legal documents.
This position analyzes, records, and maintains a comprehensive digital and written archive for the Recorders Office.
Examples of Duties Assists the public with Land Records for the purpose of accepting and processing a variety of documents being submitted for recording received via walk-ins, mail and electronically.
Processes, assembles, reviews and files vital documentation and records received by mail and in person.
Assists the public and provides customer service for the department.
Assists with department administration.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Administrative Assistant or related field and one to two years of experience in a real estate office, county office, attorney office, real estate or title company office or equivalent.
OR High school graduate, G.
E.
D or foreign education equivalent to a U.
S High School Diploma and three or four years of experience in a real estate office, county office, attorney office, real estate or title company office or equivalent.
Supplemental Information HIRING RANGE / UNION:

25 Per hour / GU Unit - Grade 7 HOURS:
Normal business hours are 8:
00 am - 4:
30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Hours are full-time, 40 hours per week.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
